Decorated Battalion Chief who recently completed a 31-year career within the Fire Department - City of New York, FDNY.  He is considered an industry expert on the incorporation of new technology into the Fire Service. He has held many firefighting and leadership positions including Battalion 39 Commander and Chief in Charge - Research and Development Unit where he was responsible for overseeing the testing, development and certification for all new and existing equipment. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University and has been awarded numerous medals for heroic/life-saving acts of bravery.
